First section of 66pp is illustrated journal entitled, "The Dental Cosmos, A Monthly Record Of Dental Science Devoted To The Interest Of The Profession, Vol. XXVI, No.11." Last section of 64pp has equipment and supplies offered with illustrations and prices. Includes double induction motor dental engine with all attachments, five different chairs, mouth lamp & laryngoscope, mouth mirror, tongue holder, fine gold, annealer, cement, oxychloride of zinc, drop tube, cheek distender, many dental and medical books, all kinds of dental tools, cross-pin teeth, articulator, wax-drip tray, burnishers, many treadle powered dental office and laboratory lathes. Fine engravings. Advertisements from a number of dental schools. A rare one! Some cover chips and light stain first few pages, otherwise very good condition. 6" x 9-1/4" x 130pp. $185.00


04925-M0395EEHC- Sales Pak-  PRO-PHY-LAC-TIC BRUSH CO., Florence, Mass. 1925. Announces a contest result. They had a monthly "head-line contest." Letter thanks recipient for entering and announces winners for July and August of 1925.  3 pieces: 1) Letter (message typed) w/beautiful, full color head depicting three toothbrushes w/packaging. 2) Brochure in full color-- 6 panel unfolds to 10-1/4" x 5-3/4".  3) Envelope with full color graphics and part of red, 2 cent Washington stamp. Envelope torn open on end and has some light soil, all else excellent condition. One of the most striking direct mail packages we've seen. Nice display items. All three pieces. $46.00

High quality, well illustrated, Geographic size on coated stk. Detailed articles on Preventive and Operative Dentistry, Radiodontia, Prosthodontia, Pathodontia, Dental Research, Anesthesia, American Dental Assoc affairs, correspondence, etc. Nice typography and ads on equipment, supplies, appliances, preparations, etc. Each issue is 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" x avg of 90 pp of articles and 50 to 60 pp of ads. Minor cover soil and chips, otherwise very good condition. We rarely get these. All. $160.00

(They manufactured dental golds and appliances, so this little journal could very well have been in Julius Aderer’s best interests, don’t you think? Wonder how long it took them to think of the silly name). Several helpful articles, classified ads, news items. Very good condition. 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 22pp. $18.00


02476- Journal- MILFORD NEWS, A magazine for Dentists, No. 84, ca 1930. L. D. Caulk Co, Milford, DE. Actually a promotional piece. They mfg synthetic porcelain, mouth washes, impression material, cavity preparation tools, other dental tools and supplies. Nicely illustrated instructional articles for use of their products. Good condition. 8-1/2" x 11" x 10pp. $24.00


07437-M1112ECHA- Season’s Greetings Card- KEENER DENTAL SUPPLY CO., Knoxville, TN. Ca 1970s (?). Large fold-out card on textured paper in full color. Features Norman Rockwell humorous art of boys in different sports scenes including baseball, golf, football, basketball. Keener was a name associated with dentistry and dental supplies for many years in Knoxville area. They claimed a founding date of 1888. At one time they had branch offices in Chattanooga, Ashville, Birmingham, and other cities in Southeastern US. We have been unable to determine just what became of them—perhaps merged out of existence.  This is a delightful advertising piece in excellent condition and ideal for any collection in many areas of interest. 5-3/4” x 7-5/8 folds out to 11-1/2” x 15-1/4”. $23.00
